Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves the operas and tangos along with all dramatic performances. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000, she relocated back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she returned to her home in southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
