Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album that year. Later in 2021 he performed an duet with TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a household of music both his parents are both musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. When he was a kid, he began learning to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele. The initial goal was to be a vet however, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he found his talent for singing and transformed his career path.
